Cork man drowns in Morocco - TV3: "Tributes have been paid today to Cork man, Alan Buckley, 35, who drowned while on holiday in Morocco in a tragic drowning accident.
Alan played both football and Hurling with Kilmurry GAA and Cloughduv GAA Hurling Club.
Chairman of Kilmurry GAA, Teddy Hartnett led described Alan as a 'nice and genuine lad, who was very popular with his teammates.'
'He was the most dedicated player we've ever had in the club. He would drive from Dublin for a challenge game.'
Coughdub club Chairman Denis O'Leary said: 'Alan was a fabulous club man. You could always depend on him...
'It is a tragic loss and he will be sorely missed,' Denis added.
The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance to the Buckley family."
